Marriage

If a man and a woman are married, and the woman get's married again, without first getting a divorce, what can happen? Can she go to Jail?

Although, "bigamy" remains a criminal offense, rarely do the "People" of state consider jailing such a bigamy offender, as a good use of resources.

However, "the marriage" to a person, still legally married to another, is not a legal marriage.

And, there are no "marital" rights, duties, obligations or privileges, that attach to either party of such a "union."

Although this is a crime, bigamy, rarely is it prosecuted. The second marriage is void though.
