Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i am a non-custodial parent living in new york. my child resides in arizona most of the year. when my child comes to new york this summer i am going to put him in summer camp (day care) while I am at work. Can his mother, the custodial parent, be made to pay for some of the cost of day care/summer camp for the time my child is with me?

Look at your child support order. It normally discusses the payment of day care and/or camp. If it isn't discussed in the order, you may be able to come to an agreement with the custodial parent about shared payment. Otherwise, this may have to be resolved in court.
