An attorney will know how to do it. A law student may not do it.

A law student cannot represent you. You may qualify for free or reduced-rate legal help depending on your income. Otherwise, you are going to have a hard time finding a lawyer to do it for free.

There are various pro bono agencies out there, but they typically work in specialized cases.eg. battered spouses, etc. Law Students can only work under the auspices of an attorney, so the only way you can find a Law Student to help you is likely through a legal clinic in a law school. You can contact local law schools and see if they have matrimonial clinics that might be interested in taking your case on. Good luck.
