Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Paternity

My daughters' birth certificate does not list anyone as the father. Self obtained blood test were done with her biological father, I went to the records building to see if it was recorded they said no. I am married now in the ''laws'' eyes is my husband considered her father and can he be added to the birth certificate?

Re: Paternity

Without a paternity test stating that he is the natural father of the your daughter, your husband will need to adopt your daughter before his name can appear on any official records.
