Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Paying Child Support directly

Due to the custodial parents financial ineptitude (not paying rent, money mismanagement) I have been taking care of the childs needs directly ie paying the baby sitter, buying all his food, diapers, medicine, establishing and funding a savings account etc. With receipts and statements to match. Nevertheless she is threating to take me to court, is there any case law that might suggest I could continue paying in this way as long as it equals 17%?

Re: Paying Child Support directly

No. There is no like kind exchange for child support. Support must be made by money delivered to the custodial parent.
