Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I recently went to court for child support and the judge ordered me to to pay for child care for my son who lives with his mother but he does not go to child care, he goes to a Karate class for 1-2 hours and his mother is with him during the class. My son is 5 years old. Is Karate class considered child care? I honestly dont think so and I dont think I should have to pay for something that is recreational.

You do not have to pay for Karate classes. However, I would need to see a copy of the court's order to determine exactly what you were directed to pay.
