Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Step Parent child support in New York - CORRECTION

My husband is a lawyer, we're getting divorced (4 year mar), he was cheating and stole/ made me spend all of my children (their father diesmoney close to $40 K of their SS Survivors Benefits and money my Mother sent for their educ and well being. My lawyer charged me $15K and we are still not divorced after 9 month and 2 court dates. What are my chances to get child support or recoup the money he stole. I work and make $60K, but after deduc. it is only enough to pay for my apartment and food and bills. What can be done? Can I find a book or a research on this topic plus how to conduct a deposition online? Are there any agencies who could help me. I am from Russia and was abused by him, I have an e-mail in which he states that he could sprinkle the rose with anthrax. Can this and the picture of my bruised body (my thighs were black for 4 months when he was moving all my furniture) be used in court? He is basically acting as a person who would never be responsible for anything. His attitude is - he is a lawyer and entitled to all. Can he be disbared based on evidence? Is this case worthless, I would just spend more money on a lawyer without getting any finances from him? He did't adopt my kids, they knew him for 9 yrs

A. Since he did not adopt your children the chance of child support is 0% The chance to recapture stolen money depends on the facts in your case.

Q. Can I find a book or a research on this topic plus how to conduct a deposition online?

A. You may want to go to your local law library located in the Supreme Court where your divorce action is pending. The law librarians may be able to help you with reading material.

Q. Are there any agencies who could help me.

A. Try the Kings County Bar Association.

Q. Can this and the picture of my bruised body (my thighs were black for 4 months when he was moving all my furniture) be used in court? ... Can he be disbared based on evidence?
