Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My wife and I are working on uncontested divorce forms. She is a NY resident and I am a UK resident, and we got married (and are getting divorced) through NY courts.

However, many of the forms need to be notarized and I don't have the time or money to travel there. If I get my side of the forms notarized by a notary here in the UK, and send them to her to get her side notarized in the US, will the forms be valid using different notaries? I mainly ask due to the Marital Settlement Agreement, which needs to be signed and notarized by both parties, and we will need to use different notaries.

A UK notary is not accepted in the New York courts. However, most major international law firms and the US Consulate have individuals with US Notary licenses.

Different notaries is not only acceptable - it's the norm.
