Legal Question in Medical Leave in New York

Job refuses FMLA

my daughter had a c-section .she have birth to a baby that was 3 months early. my job said i am not intitled to fmla for a grandchild or a child that is over 18. my daugher was 18 may of this year. i would like to know what i am intitled too

Re: Job refuses FMLA

You may be entitled to FMLA leave for a child who has reached the age of majority. If your child sufers from a serious health condition and you are otherwise qualified, you are entitled to the leave.
