Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Car

My fiance and I bought a car together. The loan is under both our names and so is the title. The car was registered under her name. We broke up and I took the car and made every payment on the car for 5 monthes on time. Fri she took the car from the train station while i was at work. Changed the iginition key and put the car somewhere i can't find it. IS this legal and do i loose the money i have made in payments and can she sell the car with out my permission. What do I do?

Re: Car

If you both have title to the car, she cannot legally sell it without your permission, nor can she deny you the right to use it. You may need to seek a court order though to assure your rights.
