Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

I had to take someone to court for some owed funds last year, but shortly afterward they lost their job. I didn't want to be money hungry in this economy, so said when they get a new job, they will have to continue payments. My questions are,

- are they legally supposed to inform if re-employment (although they likely will not).

- if they left to another state and didn't tell me, what are my options

Q. - are they legally supposed to inform if re-employment (although they likely will not).

A. No. They do not have to tell you.

Q. - if they left to another state and didn't tell me, what are my options

A. You would have to domestic the judgment in the sister state. You would then have the option of pursuing the judgment under the sister state's laws.

Mike.
