Extraordinary Quantum

Are quantum for punitive Damages set at a certain mark e.g. 2X compensatory damages or, if justifiably defended, could a higher quantum be suggested and be accepted by the court e.,g 5X.

There are limits and this is a complicated area of the law. In Florida, it is very difficult to obtain punitive damages.
