Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

How to figure out the date a plaintiff could request for default entry in a civil case?

It seem so many possibilities apply per Rules 12 and 4(d). As a pro se , I have the date complaint was filed . How could I find the service date, weather the defendant signed a waiver or by what date a request for entry of default can be made?

is it 21 days, 60 days? 120 days? or else?

You should have received a Return of Service Form form the process server. If this is a federal case where you are asking for a waiver of service of process, the defendant does not have to respond and that's were you will have to engage the services of a process server.
