Lent my partner/friend money with only a verbal agreement

I lent the person I was in a relationship with for four years 12,000.00, with only a verbal agreement, What are my chances of winning my money back if I took him to court? He has a full time job.

Its complicated but you can try to get the partner to acknowledge the debt with.a partial payment. Other than that you are out of luck.
