Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Opposing Order to Show Cause

I am a party in a case and was served with an Order to Show Cause a few moments ago.

I intend to oppose it, however, I don't know where to begin when it comes to completing the opposition papers and I can't seem to find a guide, how-to or sample online.

Do you know of a template (online or anywhere else) I can use or let me know what information to include and how to go about completing it?

(As you can probably tell, I don't have an attorney.)

Re: Opposing Order to Show Cause

Each Supreme Court in New York State has a local law library. The library is open to the public.

If you go into the library and ask the librarian for a form book, he or she will be able to help you.
