Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

I would like to seal the record of a stay hearing in a civil matter in NY supreme court. I am confused as to how to proceed, as the plaintiff is now deceased. I'm unsure who and how I would serve?

The law strongly disfavors sealing files. You will need to make an application to the County Administrative Judge. And the showing has to be compelling. Feel free to contact me to discuss your options. [email protected] or 516-242-1453.
