Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

going to small claims court?

My ex husband is in a union so whn I take the kids to the dentist I have to pay up front & submit the claims to his union. He then receives the money in a checkin his name from his union. How can I get the money from him? Do I have a leg to stand on and if I took him to court could I win and how would I go about doing that.

Go to Family court and file a petition seeking full payment of all dental from him. Explain to the Judge exactly what you stated here.

So, he benefits everytime your child goes to dentist? Unbelievable!
