Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
I 130 petition for husband in UK
I recently got married to a UK citizen and 2 days ago, I just received my green card. We weren't able to include my husband in my petition. If I file I130, how long will that take? My husband and I want to be together but he has to go back to England. How long should I be out of the US to maintain my immigrant status?

The waiting time for I-130 FOR husband/wife of a green card holder is a few years.
You should not be out of USA for more than 6 months in a row and you should not be out cumulatively for more than half of the time that you have your green card.
