Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Want to bring my fiance from India to Usa I am a citizen of usa and about 20 years ago was convicted of prostitution. It was only myself(no traficting) will this stop me from bring him here. Also can I answer no to I have not commited any of these crimes when they ask. because on the form it asks if I ever pled guilty to "sexual exploitation" It don't know if prostitution ever falls under that.
