Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Changing of address

Dear lawguru,

My wife live in NY and she has a job offer in VA;

I am currently a conditional permanent resident; next year I have to apply for the removals;

If she takes this job, can she keep the NY legal address (or domicile?...)while working there?

Is this change going to hurt and possibly deny my case?

Thank you

roby

Re: Changing of address

Dear Sir,

It is important to keep the USCIS aware of you new address. However, moving to a new location will not affect your eligibility to remove the conditions of your permanent resident status.

It is advisble to contact an expereinced immigration lawyer if you need further guidance.
