Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

criminal check

I was arrested and released from the precinct in few hours, told to stay out of trouble. I didnt have to go to see the judge nor was given any paperwork. Im not sure if i was charged with anything. How can i know if i have any record? Do i need a lawyer to check this?

You should be able to request an arrest record from the police precinct where you were arrested. However if you require assistance in obtaining such records, our office would be more than happy to assist you.
