Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

when filing for the I 131 along with an I- 130 and I 485 how would you fill out part 2? Are you applying for advanced parole since one does not know the decision on permanent residence yet?

Yes, if one is applying for adjustment of status, I-485, and files the application for travel document, form I-131, it's called an application for "advanced parole".
