Hello,

In general, a green card holder is eligible to apply for citizenship after being a permanent resident for 5 years. If you obtained your green card through a marriage to U.S. citizen, you may be eligible to apply after 3 years.

Please remember that there are other eligibility requirements, like continuous residence and physical residence.
