Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

H1 Visa

Hi

I have an Approved H1 petition (I797) through Company A. Also got my H1 visa stamped using this petition.

I also have a Approved petition (I797) through Company B but no Visa has been stamped using that petition.

Question -- Can I travel using my current Visa (through Company A) and work for Company B using the Valid I797 of Company B ?

Is there likely to be any problem at Port of Entry? Will there be any problem if I try to transfer the H1 in future?

Thanks a lot in advance

Re: H1 Visa

Dear Sir/Madam,

In order to re-enter the U.S. legally you would need a new visa stamp from your new H-1b petition through company B. You are always free to transfer your H-1b again while you are in valid H-1b status.
