illegla work consequence
Hi,
I am a business trainee in NYC under J-1 visa and my company has decided to stop paying me but wants to keep me as an unpaid intern. What could be the consequences if I took a job off the books as a waitress?

Re: illegla work consequence
Employment without authorization can cause initiation of the removal proceeding (deportation). Therefore, be very careful!
