Please provide more information. Why did he missed his hearing etc.

You should consult with an immigration attorney about your case.

Re: How to go about keeping boyfriend here.

Most likely, your boyfriend was ordered deported/removed "in absentia" (meaning in his absence, when he failed to appear in court). Depending on when the judge entered this order against him, your boyfriend may have a lengthy bar against him from trying to now adjust his status (based upon marriage).

However, depending on the circumstances under which your boyfriend failed to appear in court, there might be a way to reopen his case. If he is detained, this should be done sooner rather than later!

Should you wish to discuss this situation with us in further detail, feel free to call us for a consultation. We have extensive experiences with these types of situations. Also, feel free to visit our website (www.thakerlaw.com) for more information!

Good luck!
