Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

how long it will take for me to get papers, if i will marry green card holder.

I would like to know how it usually takes to get papers when i will marry green card holder and if can help that we have a baby together who is already citizen.

If you are eligible to do an Adjustment of Status you will be obtain a temporary legal status as an Adjustment Applicant as soon as a month or two. If you are not eligible for Adjustment of Status you will have to do Consular Processing (ie. an immigrant visa or a K visa) outside the U.S. Consular processing can take from 4 to 18 months, depending on many factors.
