Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I am a UK passport holder. If I marry a Mexican national in the US who has the right to work there, can I stay and work also?

What is the Mexican husband's visa? Work permit by itself doesn't explain his status and whether you can be eligible for a derivative status. I need to know on what visa he is working in USA.

Before anything else, thanks for writing me at LawGuru.com

No. Visa derivation depends of previous marriage in Mexico. A chance is getting mexican nationality first and then you can get a derivation. Details: www.uscis.gov

Visa is under specific circunstances, any other circunstance is different and is not possible a change, except in specific cases.

Any doubt or another question, let me know it please.
