I am sorry to hear that.

If you have not become a permanent resident yet, and if there was some form of abuse, violence or cruelty on your wife's part -- you might be able to self-petition for residency under federal VAWA law.

Without your wife (a petitioner) you can't continue with the pending applications (I-130 and I-485).

I suggest you consult a knowledgeable immigration attorney (not a 'specialist' or 'notario').

If you would like to request a confidential legal advice or schedule telephone or email consultation regarding your specific situation, please email me directly at [email protected] and I will send you a Questionnaire. Office Telephone line is 1-402-210-2040 (please EMAIL first to schedule a consultation appointment). I am an immigration attorney and work with clients from all States and globally.
