homeowners liability insurance

Would my homeowners be liable to pay out damages to the neighbors home that my 16 year old shot marbles toward the woods,house etc with a slingshot and because it hit the siding and it was feb it was brittle and it cracked.My 16 year old has been on medication since he was 6 and has a history of mental illness,mood disorder,adhd,diadnosed.I was at work and my mom was on her way to my house to be w/ him

It might cover that type of loss. All policies are different. Speak with your broker, if your broker says no, ask why not. Tell them it was accidental, not intentional.

I don't entirely understand your question, but I have your point: please refer to the summary of Mass Bay v Seddon on my home page on Lawguru, which was a case involving a similar question of liability for off premises negligence of a minor.

In that case the kids were playing darts in a firehouse and the dart hit the plaintiff in the eye.

It all depends on the exclusions in the policy and the facts of the case.
