Is content scraping an eCommerce site and using the content for ones own site with and without modifying text or pictures legal?

"Scraping" is another word for stealing the intellectual property of others.

To further respond, if the "scraping" would be considered 'fair use' you can use some material but that's a judgment that should be made by an experienced intellectual property lawyer. The fact that "everyone does it" is not a legal defense.
