Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I entered into an Employee-Employer contract last year. I am the Employee.

I signed a contract in for approximately $70,000 dollars on condition (made orally by my employer) that salary would actually be greater at the year end if certain conditions were fulfilled.

I have fulfilled those conditions, but my employer is now denying that such promises were made. I want to know what my options are, as I believe this is a breach of contract

There is always the legal option of filing suit for breach of contract; however, before you consider such an option, it would be best for you to have an attorney review the contract you signed for the simple reason that most contracts contain a provision that there are no oral representations and the contract is limited to the terms stated therein.
