Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was just fired for stealing , they said they have it on camera. I know 100% i did not steal anything. I asked them to see the video and they said that they could not do that. It was also brought up that i rang myself out, I worked at a convience store, even though i had to close 3 nights in arow. Which is against company policy also. What can I do?

A company can fire you for any non-discriminatory reason, including on suspicion of theft. They are under no obligation to prove that you were stealing.

With regard to working three nights in a row, it would be helpful to know if you were being fairly compensated, including overtime compensation for working more than 40 hours in a week. You can contact me through my website FLSAattorney.com or directly through the link below.
