Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was hired without signing a written contract, a contract have not been completed for me as yet can I be fired before I had a chance to sign this contract?

In states that are at will you can be fired for any reason as long as it is not on the basis of your gender, age, race, religion or sexual preference.

How long have you been employed by this comnpany?

What papers have you signed? Did you sign a W-2 form?
