Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
My husband worked for a school district for 30 years. He recently retired in Nov 2012. They were negotiating a contract for the last two years and just settled. Is he owed the retroactive pay for the time he was employed? (July 1, 2012- Nov. 28, 2012)

Most probably, unless there is a contract provision to the contrary. He is also entitled to have his pension benefit recalculated for the higher final average salary.
