Owed Wages and Expense Reimbursement
My current employer owes me a sum of approx 11,000 dollars from a combination of wages and reimbursed travel expenses. i am a outside trainer that gets a per day salary and expenses paid. My employer is stating in-ability to pay us for owed wages nor the expenses. What recourse do I have. I live in Boca Raton Fl, the company has offices in Butler, NY and Nova Scotia, Canada.

To start with, file a claim with the NY Department of Labor so they can determine whether he truly casnnot afford to pay.
