How often does a judge reverse his decission when a reconsideration is presented????

The NY statute CPLR Rule 2221 sets out the allowable procedure: it contains the rules concerning a motion for leave to renew or to reargue. Generally you must request the same judge to reconsider his decision within a set amount of time or reargue his decision based upon new facts.
