Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I worked for a company in New Rochelle, NY from8/5/09 to 8/26/09. They provided a check on 9/7/09 which bounced. I have been trying to recive my wages ever since. I am about to be evicted because of this. I ave put in the paper work for a small calims action, but he case will be in February. What can I do to get my rightful money now?
