eviction notice

Unable to pay April rent on my rent-controlled apartment, landlord will be issuing an eviction notice if I don't fully pay April and May rent by next week. How may I obtain a few more weeks' time to fully pay?

Let him file the eviction papers (takes time) and when you go to court, ask Judge for more time. BUT, make sure you have a plan in which to pay.
