Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

My landlord took me to court stating that I owed $500 in back rent. I provided all my rent receipts to my lawyer to prove I was only 1 month behind. My lawyer made an agreement with my landlord for a court ordered judgement for me to pay $500. After the judgement I had my lawyer take another look at my receipts which prove that I owe only 1 month rent which is $100.00 My lawyer told me to try to work it out with the landlord. I took my papers to the judge secretary outlining everything. The secretary later called me expressing the judges apology but said I need to get a lawyer to file some papers and fill out some forms. Would I still need to pay $500 to the landlord if they are not entitled to it?

Until overturned, you must comply with a judgment.
