Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
i am a landlord in new york i have a single mom w/ 3 children who applied for a 3br apt. i have up for rent. can i request information from her regarding the childrens birth father, who by the way is not applying with her an will not be on the lease. the 3 children have taken their mothers last name, i ask because when the subject was brought up in person the girl got evasive and kinda squirmish. if you dont have an exact answer could u reply back with a link or direct site where i can find it.. thank you
