I moved in to my apt. on march26,2008 and my landlord try to get slick and extorted me for oil,and water iam only a renter,he giving me too much problems.he shut off the heat and i got sick.its cold inside the apt.now i have too move again pay a moving truck can i get my money back on the things i lost and now i have to pay a moving truck again.i spend my saving on moving to this place i even bought cleaning supply because he didnt not clean the apt. it was real dirty stove,refigirator and bathroom.please let me know what can i do.

I think that your best bet is to move. If you have a lease you are bound by the terms of the lease. If the lease says that you have to pay heat and water you are stuck with it. You are also bound by the terms of the lease about moving out and when.

If there is no lease you have to give 30 days notice from the last time you paid your rent.

The landlord cannot shut off the heat. You could have called the health department who would order him to put the heat back on.

No matter what you do, I don't think you can repair the relationship with your landlord.
