Our lease is up and we can not afford our rent. We want t to move but we need time. I need to call our landlord to work something out. What might I suggest? They want to raise our rent and extend the lease another year. We want to move as soon as possible. We are having a lot of trouble right now and many people that I have worked for are late or failing to pay. When you live hand to mouth, this money is everything. Is there any legal course here that doesn't just leave us on the street? Thank you
