Re: moving out

You did not mention which county you are in, but you must contact a neighborhood tenant advocate office immediately.

You have substantial rights in your tenancy and must seek the advice of KNOWLEDGEABLE local counsel.

Re: moving out

I am happy to see an 80 year old using the internet. Now, if I can get my 97 year old Grandma to go on the internet that would be something (she learned how to drive on a Model T Ford).

I really need more information. Why is the landlord installing a new kitchen and bath? Is it because the present pipes leak causing an issue to another tenant? Or, is it because he feels like it?

How long the job will take? How long will you have to be out of the apartment? Will landlord will compensate you for the move?

Resubmit with answers to these questions.

Mike.
