Guilty till proven innocent
Is it aganist the law for a businees to ''give you some time off'' if you have been charged with a crime? I have a situation where my sister-in-law was given time off till after her court date because her employer didn't want the embarresment. Is this legal?

If she is an "at will employee" than the answer is yes.
