malpractice attorney

Have just ended s long divorce and my attorney never explained anything and he left ne out to dry during the final hearings. he must be punished for illegal and acts not promised for his services

There is a difference between feeling aggrieved by what you believe an attorney did (or didn't do) and committing legal malpractice. In addition, the "test" for establishing legal malpractice varies widely in New York, so where in NY the suit is commenced is another factor that needs to be considered, among many other factors.
