Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Question continued

Ok maybe i was unclear i went in and they inserted an iv 3 days later they tool it out i was in severe pain but they told me it would feel like that i have never had an iv in my arm for so long so i said ok 3 days later i still could not open my arm fully at all 5 days later still in severe pain i thought they left something in my arm so i went to my doc but he had cancelled so the next thing for me to do is go to emergency i still cannot full open my arm and they informed me that i had phlebitis from a iv i was having diffrent pains by then pain in upper and lower arm head aches and fever i just found out as well that they had recalled several flush syringes because it caused phlebitis

Where did the care occur?

If this was NY, you need to speak with a lawyer licensed to practice in NY as soon as practical.

I would need to know more information.

Who diagnosed it as phlebitis? It sounds as if you have nerve damage caused by the insertion of the needle.

Is your arm swollen?

How long have you has it. Is it getting any better.
