Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

total hysterectomy

In 2004 I had a total hysterectomy. It is very very painful to have sex or to even douche. I think the doctor may have done something wrong.

Medical malpractice cases are very complex and costly to litigate. You may potentially have a statute of limitations problem as well. I need more facts as these cases turn on minor facts at times. Re: total hysterectomy

Unfortunately, in NY there is a two and half year statute of limitations for when you can bring a medical malpractice case. If the hysterectomy occurred in 2004, then you are precluded from suing your doctor. I am trully sorry.
