This is because your accident was "on the job" and you probably have a good workers' compensation case. If you would like to discuss how you can apply for workers' compensation benefits and receive compensation for your injuries contact me. My email address is [email protected].

I handle workers compensation cases all over the NY Metro area including Nassau and Suffolk Counties. I have obtained substantial settlements for workers compensation claimants including those in the Hempstead, Patchogue and Hauppauge Workers' Compensation Hearing Parts.

Whether or not you are entitled to receive workers' compensation benefits will depend on your status at the time of the accident, i.e. whether you were "on the job." If the workers' compensation carrier as already rejected your claim saying you were not on the job you are entitled to challenge that determination with the worker's compensation board. The workers' comensation board has exclusive jurisdiction to answer this question. You may also have what is called a third-party claim if another party other than your employer was responsible for the accident. You can call us toll free at 888.487.6735 (888.4VRoseLaw). Ask for the "Legal Pit Bull" - Mr. Rosenberg. He will be happy to answer all your questions. Tell him Stuart sent you. You can also visit us at www.VRinjuryLawyers.com.

You have two claims here potentially. The first, a workers compensation case. Your workers compensation case requires your employers workers compensation carrier to pay for all of your medical bills and lost wages. The second claim, (which many workers comp lawyers do not take the time to examine) is a third party claim against the person who owned the parking lot or was responsible for cleaning the parking lot (possibly the snow removal company). The workers compensation law prevents you from suing your employer for pain and suffering but you are entitled to the above benefits of medical bill payments and lost wage benefits.
