Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

I have an attorney, had my deposition last month for a personal injury accident that occurred july 2008. How long does it normally take to conclude the case after the deposition . I have difficulties reaching my attorney, he does not return my calls. I did recieve a hard copy of the deposition, what happens now?

Following depositions and a physical exam of the plaintiff by defendants' doctor, the case usually goes onto the trial calendar. It can sit, gently floating toward the top, for a year, sometimes even more. You should insist on an appointment with your lawyer if you have these sorts of questions. Best, M.E. Zuller
